Why didn’t Melovue ask for full Photos access?
Melovue uses Apple’s system photo picker. You choose the specific photos and music screenshots you want to provide, so the app does not need permission to browse your full library. Melovue requests add-only permission when it needs to save a finished visual to Photos.
I can’t save a visual
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Go to Apps → Melovue → Photos.
- Make sure Melovue is allowed to add photos.
- Check that your device has available storage, then try again.
No person was detected
Try a photo with a clearly visible upper body or full body, good separation between the person and background, and sufficient lighting. Very dark images, heavy blur, cropped subjects, or similar foreground and background colors can reduce detection quality.
The music information or artwork is incorrect
On the Review Music screen, adjust the artwork crop or replace it with another selected image. You can also correct the detected song title and artist before creating the final visual.
Does Melovue upload my images?
No. Photos, music screenshots, extracted text, and generated visuals are processed on your iPhone and are not uploaded to us. Read the full Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete Melovue data?
Melovue does not create an account or store your data on our servers. Deleting the app removes its local settings and activity records, subject to Apple’s device and backup behavior. Images already saved to Photos must be deleted separately in the Photos app.
System requirements
Melovue requires an iPhone running iOS 17 or later. Keeping iOS updated is recommended for the latest Photos, Vision, and image-processing improvements.
