Melovue is designed to turn photos and music screenshots into visuals on your device. We do not operate accounts, advertising systems, or remote analytics for the app.

1. Who we are
Melovue is provided by Factory 471 (referred to as “Melovue,” “we,” “us,” or “our” in this policy).
2. Information processed by the app
Photos and music screenshots
When you choose to create a visual, the app processes only the photos and music screenshots you explicitly select through Apple’s system photo picker. Processing may include extracting album artwork and text, identifying a person, creating a foreground mask, and rendering a final image.
This processing happens on your device. We do not receive, upload, or remotely store your selected images, extracted song or artist text, person masks, or finished visuals.
Photos library access
The system photo picker lets you provide selected items without giving Melovue access to your full photo library. When you save a finished visual, Melovue requests add-only access so it can add that image to Photos. Melovue does not use that permission to browse your library.
App settings and local activity records
Melovue stores your language preference on your device. It also keeps a limited local record of creation activity so the app can measure basic product behavior without transmitting analytics. These records may contain:
- event type, such as creation or export;
- creation mode and selected visual style;
- success, failure, or cancellation status;
- a broad duration range; and
- the event date and, where applicable, sharing destination type.
These records do not contain photos, song or artist text, filenames, photo-library identifiers, advertising identifiers, or account identifiers. They stay on your device and are not collected by us.
3. Data we do not collect
Melovue does not require an account and does not collect personal information, device identifiers, precise location, contacts, browsing history, payment information, or advertising data. We do not track you across apps or websites, sell personal data, or use third-party advertising or remote analytics SDKs.
4. Sharing and third-party services
Finished visuals are saved to your Photos library only when you request it. If you later share a saved visual through another app or service, that action is initiated by you and is governed by the recipient service’s privacy policy and terms. Apple’s App Store, iOS, Photos, and system photo picker are governed by Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.
Melovue includes the open-source MODNet model for on-device image processing. The model runs locally and does not receive or transmit your data.
5. Retention and deletion
- Selected source images and generated working data are used for the active creation session and are not uploaded to us.
- Local activity records are automatically limited to the most recent 100 records and are removed after 30 days.
- Deleting Melovue removes the app’s locally stored settings and activity records from the device, subject to Apple’s device and backup behavior.
- Finished visuals saved to Photos remain there until you delete them from Photos.
Because Melovue has no accounts or remote user database, we generally have no user data to retrieve or delete on your behalf.
6. Children’s privacy
Melovue does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app’s on-device processing and no-account design apply to all users.
7. Security and international transfers
Your selected content is processed locally using iOS technologies. Because we do not receive that content or the app’s local activity records, we do not transfer them to servers in other countries. No method of device storage is completely risk-free, so you should keep your device and operating system secure.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if Melovue’s features or legal obligations change. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, when appropriate, provide additional notice.
