These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Wayin Korea mobile application and related services (“Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must have legal capacity to agree to these Terms under applicable law. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Description of the Service
Wayin Korea helps users convert/open map links (including Google Maps links) in supported Korean map apps and may display travel-related recommendations and affiliate offers.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive activities.
- Interfere with app operation, security, or other users.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt unauthorized access except where legally permitted.
4. Affiliate and Third-Party Content
The Service may include affiliate links, banners, and third-party content.
If you click third-party links or make purchases, your relationship is with that third party, and their terms/policies apply. We may earn a commission from qualifying actions.
5. No Navigation or Emergency Guarantee
The Service is a convenience utility and does not guarantee route accuracy, place accuracy, or uninterrupted operation.
Do not rely on the Service for emergency or safety-critical navigation decisions.
6. Intellectual Property
All rights in the Service (excluding third-party trademarks/content) are owned by us or our licensors.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, lawful use.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits/data/goodwill arising from your use of the Service.
If liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the greater of:
- Amount you paid us for the Service in the prior 12 months, or
- USD 50.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
10. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required for legal/security/operational reasons.
11. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.
We may update these Terms and will post the updated version with a revised date. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Seoul, Republic of Korea, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
13. Affiliate Links and Monetization
The Service may display links, banners, or recommendations to third-party products and services (“Affiliate Links”). If you click an Affiliate Link or complete a qualifying purchase or booking, Wayin Korea may receive a commission or referral fee. This does not necessarily increase the price you pay, but pricing and final terms are determined solely by the third-party provider.
Your interactions and transactions through Affiliate Links are strictly between you and the applicable third party, and are governed by that third party’s terms and policies. Wayin Korea does not guarantee third-party offers, pricing, availability, or service quality, and is not responsible for third-party content, products, or services.
